A man was convicted at Antrim Magistrates Court today for claiming benefits he was not entitled to.
Jay Brindle (51) of Caulside Park, Antrim claimed Carer’s Allowance and Income Support totalling £3,918 while failing to declare employment. He was given a four month prison sentence suspended for two years.
He is also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Department for Communities.
