The COVID-19 Charities Fund was set up by the Department for Communities in Northern Ireland to provide financial support to charities facing financial difficulty as a result of the coronavirus pandemic up to 31 March 2021.
The Fund’s first phase was administered on behalf of the Department by The National Lottery Community Fund. A list of successful applicants to this Fund was published in October 2020 which you can access through the link below.
In early December 2020, the Minister announced a second phase of the funding. Phase 2 of the COVID-19 Charities Fund opened for applications on 6 January 2021, closing on 22 January 2021 and was administered on behalf of the Department by Community Finance Ireland.
