Notice is hereby given that the River Lagan between the Lagan Weir and the Stranmillis Weir will be unsafe for navigation at the following dates and time: Friday 25th April between 01:00am - 08:00am.
River lowering - Friday 25 April 2025
The River Lagan will be allowed to go fully tidal overnight to improve water quality.
River users are advised not to be on the river during these periods as the river level will fall substantially below the normal minimum impoundment level.
