Article 30 of the Housing (Northern Ireland) Order 1992 Specification 1995

Article 30 of the Housing (Northern Ireland) Order 1992 permits the Department to specify the maximum amounts which may be paid by an Association by way of expenses to a member of its committee or to an Officer if that member or officer is not an employee of that Association. In exercise of this power the Department has made the above specification, a copy of which is attached below.

Article 30 Housing (Northern Ireland) Order 1992 Specification 1995

The Department of the Environment for Northern Ireland in exercise of the power conferred on it by Article 30(3) of the Housing (Northern Ireland) Order 1992 hereby specifies that the maximum amount which a Registered Housing Association may pay in respect of personal and incidental expenses (excluding board and travelling expenses) when attending a residential training course, conference or seminar, shall be £10.00 per day or part thereof.
This specification applies to the following classes of persons:
i.A member of the Association who is not a member of its committee or an officer or employee of the Association;
ii.A member of the Association's Committee who is not an officer or employee of the Association; or
iii.An officer of the Association who does not have a contract of employment with the Association.
This specification may be cited as Article 30(3) of the Housing (Northern Ireland) Order 1992 Specification - 1995 and takes effect from 1 September 1995.
