Date published: 20 March 2023

This is a proposed intervention to support vulnerable and low-income households with access to food and everyday living essentials during the Cost-of-Living Crisis.

In response to this crisis Bryson Care, in consultation with the Consumer Council and Energy Regulator, have devised and been delivering their Cost-of-Living Emergency Response Initiative (CLERI) which has been in operation since November 2022 with the aim of supporting 13,500 households by March 2023. It has largely been funded to date by two significant donations from SSE Airtricity who donated £1m, and Mutual Energy who donated £3m.
